Persimmon is one of the names that comes up again and again on the Exeter and East Devon side, so it is no surprise that I regularly hear from Persimmon buyers who want the television side sorted early. These are often busy family moves. There may be children choosing bedrooms, somebody planning a home office, and a lounge that needs to work properly from the first evening rather than after a month of temporary fixes.
Persimmon’s own South West material continues to point to a strong local presence, with Ashworth Place and Cherrywood Grange at Tithebarn, continuing Cranbrook involvement and further Exeter-side approvals around Newcourt. For me, that translates into a very familiar run of jobs: new aerials, Freesat dishes, extra room feeds, wall-mounted televisions and tidy setups that make a brand-new home feel lived in much more quickly.

Persimmon TV aerials, satellite and extra room points
I can install a new aerial, fit and align a Freesat dish, add extra signal points and set up a loft aerial properly where the property suits one. That last point matters because a loft aerial is not something I like to fit on guesswork alone. If it will work well, I will say so. If it will leave you disappointed, I would much rather tell you up front and fit the right system instead.
Persimmon homes also lend themselves well to tidy TV installation. A wall-mounted screen in the lounge, a sensible route for the cables and the right feeds in the right rooms can make the whole place feel more settled. If you want a more polished living-room finish, I can also help with simple home cinema layouts, soundbars and the practical bits that often get forgotten until late in the move.
Not every Persimmon move looks the same
A couple moving into Tithebarn may want something quite different from a family moving into a Cranbrook property. One might mainly care about the main lounge. Another may need three rooms connected from the outset. A home-worker may want a study screen fed properly, while somebody else would rather keep the job as clean and simple as possible. That is why I prefer to work around the people in the house, not just the postcode.

The result should be a setup you barely have to think about: stable picture, sensible room coverage and a finish that looks right in a modern home.
A better way to finish the moving-in stage
Once the removals are over, most people just want the house to start functioning properly. The television is part of that. Whether it is a family film in the lounge, a news channel in the kitchen or a quiet screen upstairs, it helps when the setup works naturally instead of relying on workarounds.
If your move is taking you further toward the coast, the Exmouth Aerials page may also be relevant. I cover the Exeter side, East Devon and the coastal patch, and I am happy to talk through the sensible options.
